A tool that turns ‘hmmmm’ into ‘here's why.’

We started hmmmm because every product comparison we tried was either an editor's opinion (Wirecutter), a database (EWG), or a chat thread (ChatGPT). None of them gave us a page we could send.

How hmmmm works

When you paste options, we use Anthropic's Claude models to read the product pages, suggest factors that matter for that category, and draft a verdict. The author then reviews and publishes. Every comparison says “AI-assisted, reviewed by [Author]” because transparency matters.

What we don't do

We don't make medical claims. We don't take affiliate kickbacks for ranking (yet — and when we do, we'll disclose it on every page). We don't use your input to train models.
